The company planned complete 4 days tour for me, including the Darwaza gas crater, the historical sites of Merv (UNESCO), the city Mary, ancient Nissa (UNESCO) and of course beautiful Ashgabat. Their staff, such as Suray, were very patient, incredibly helpful, and answered all my emails to ensure that I have a itinerary that is suitable for me, procured the Letter of Invite, and really took a superb care of me. The hotel in Ashgabat that they booked for me was perfect. I also stayed one night at their Yurt camp, very clean, which is a walking distance from the Darwaza gas crater. They have been very reliable, always on time, and I got to see more places than my agreed itinerary had listed, and at no extra cost. The culture of the company is very good, a reflection of its owners and managers. The tour guide is a nice person, and so are the drivers that accompanied us on multiple trips and roads there. The Turkmen people are nice, peaceful and respectful. I highly recommend visiting, and I do recommend this tour company.

Owadan Tourism exceeded our expectations. We knew we were in good hands from the beginning because Suray was very responsive as we planned our trip. Our guide, Eziz, was phenomenal and treated us like VIP from the minute he met us at the airport until he walked us through the exit border several days later.
We spent four fabulous days with Eziz. Everything was perfectly timed, to the point where Eziz even pre-ordered our dinner once so it would be ready at the restaurant when we arrived. We were invited to a surprise event they had for a larger tour of a wedding ceremony and the meal we had was the best of our 2 week trip! The trip to the crater was the highlight and the meal there was excellent as well.
We had the opportunity to meet the owner of the company, who was the nicest guy and checked in with Eziz every evening to make sure we were satisfied with our day and to see if we needed anything else. He even added some excursions to our trip free of charge!
Eziz even flew from Ashgabal to Turlmenibad with us to help us cross the land border to Uzbekistan.
I cannot recommend this company enough!

I booked a tour of Turkmenistan as part of a larger Central Asia tour. My guides from Owadan were truly exceptional. They went over and above to be sure that I had everything I needed and that everything was taken care of. They are extremely knowledgeable and very detail oriented. The guides and drivers were always on time and made this one of the most memorable vacation experiences I have ever had had. Turkmenistan is a beautiful country that is extremely safe, clean, and full of beautiful people. A large group of Turkmen insisted I go to the front of the line at the border crossing to Uzbekistan because I was “a guest” in their country. Book with this company and you definitely will not be disappointed.

Overall, my tour with Owadan was very good. I only had a brief trip into the country basically to visit the Darvaza crater. So I was with the company for basically 30 hours from pickup at the border near Dashugoz, over to visit the sites in Koneurgench, then to the crater and back to the border. Be aware that the drive to the crater is long and difficult, mostly due to the horrible roads, so we did not arrive at the crater until almost 10pm. It was good having my guide at the border waiting for me, as she helped me get thru the confusion at the border, which was sky high. My driver was excellent and safe. My guide was good, but promised a few things that never materialized because she "forgot". The stay in the yurt at the crater was fine, but be aware it is VERY VERY basic, no showers. The provided dinner at the campsite was also fine, but the company nickels and dimes you for anything extra, including a basic soda and or beer. My biggest complaint was the cost of the trip. Seeing that gas is 32 cents a gallon in the country, and Im sure workers are paid relatively low, I think the value was fair at best. Not sure how much is kicked back to the ruling authorities in the country. Overall a good trip, but for the price, it sure would have been a bit nicer not to nickel and dime the customer. Just seemed "cheap" to me, especially considering what I paid for a 30 hour visit. The company seems to be well run, and overall I was happy with my tour.

The service provided by Owadan during our stay in Turkmenistan has been excellent. We are grateful for your welcome.
We highlighted the drivers we had on Sunday from the market until the end of the day and who took us to Mary and then picked us up the next day at the airport. Both exceeded our expectations.

Good morning , just back from Turkmenistan on the 19/5/2024.I have to admit I was a bit on edge travelling to Turkmenistan on my own.When I arrived at 2 am Kemol my guide was waiting in arrivals.I knew straight away that I was in good hands and he was excellent all the way thought the trip with very sound practical advice . I had a number of drivers who were also top notch , but I forgot to take their names. However I did remember Kadar who looked after me like a king for the last few days.I wrote to Owadan in October 2023 with my itinerary and they followed it through on the trip as I requested . They also obtained the important letter of invitation for me.I dealt with Suray Muhamm by email who was brilliant and professional before I travelled . I was also introduced to Mr Saparklych Rahanov the General director of Owadan who was very welcoming, and has a genuine passion for his country. He also organised 2 complementary tours for me on the last day to a tribal village and caves in the mountains outside Ashgabat , and the night tour of the capital which was the icing on the cake !To conclude I have been privileged to travel all over this planet. I would safety say that this company and destination has been the highlight of the approximately the 50 countries I have travelled to so far. The plan is to return at some stage and I will be booking with Owadan tours. Kieran J

In order to get a letter of invitation to enter Turkmenistan I had to go with an travel agency. I choose Owandam, which was my luck. Visiting Ashgabad, Mari, Konya Urgentch and Nissa it was a great, great trip: Everyday a UNESCO world cultural site, four days filled of wonders, truely the silk road revisited.
Owadan was flexibel to arrange free individual travel. Jemal the tour manager arranged the tour before and was in contact with the drivers during the tour to adjust the daily itinerary. Well done. All persons of the staff were highly professional.
I can recommend this tour operator to everybody going to Turkmenistan.

I highly recommend Owadan for tourism to Turkmenistan! I communicated with Sevara while planning the trip and she was quick to respond and very helpful as we were planning our itinerary. She made the letter of invitation (LOI) and visa process very simple.
Our guide, Aygul, was knowledgeable and fun. All details of the trip were well planned and ran seamlessly. As a bonus, Aygul is a great photographer. We got some fantastic photos at night in Darvaza that we never would’ve been able to take ourselves!

I had a fantastic 4 days in Turkmenistan thanks to Owadan Tourism and my guide, Eziz. Eziz is a fantastic guide who is clearly very passionate about Turkmenistan and its culture. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a great trip. I visited the Darvaza Gas Crater, Ashgabat and Mary, all of which were incredible. Turkmenistan is among the most fascinating countries I’ve visited. The kindness of the people, beauty of the scenery, and uniqueness of Ashgabat all make it a magnificent place to visit. Owadan appears to be a well-organized company with great guides and drivers. In the process of planning my trip, the staff were helpful and responsive. I highly recommend them for a trip to Turkmenistan.

My nine-day tour of Turkmenistan was arranged jointly by the Uzbek company Advantour and Turkmen Owadan travel. I had to make some changes in my travel plans and Owadan travel always smoothly accommodated me while making sure that I incurred no extra expenses.They truly care about the welfare of their clients. I was even welcomed by the charismatic founder owner of the company Mr. Sapargylych Rahmanow .Mr Rahmanow recently built a small yurt settlement at the amazing Darvaza crater, making it possible for tourists to spend a night in the relative comfort in this remote area of the vast Turkmen desert.

And by the way, I tried to find Hotel from Ashgabat on Internet and Apps. But there are none. Could you please tell me how can I book a hotel please? Or App can I use to book a hotel room ?
