Our day with Taci was wonderful. We met early in the Spice market, when there were no crowd, and ended the tour on the Asian side with a huge lunch. We learned about Turkish food and so much more. Highly Recommend.

As an avid world traveler, I firmly believe the best and most memorable way to experience a country is to take a leap off the beaten tourist path and immerse yourself in its culture. So, when we decided to visit Turkey, we started researching and began brainstorming what we wanted to do to take full advantage of our short trip.... More

First I have to apologise for taking so long to write this review. I can’t speak highly enough about how much my sister and I enjoyed our day. Sadly Istanbul's tourist sector has taken a hit but selfishly this did mean that my sister and I had Taciser all to ourselves and she was wonderful. It was more like spending... More

I only had 3.5 days in Istanbul and I really wanted to take a cooking class, but this tasting tour was absolutely perfect. It started in the spice bazaar and I got to try cheeses, a fresh pomegranate/orange juice and typical breakfast/tea. spice market included tasting a lot of different spices, dried fruits, nuts, sweets, and concluded with a ferry... From a food perspective, Istanbul is a city that should be experienced from the ground up. While it can be enough to enjoy delicious meals in nice restaurants, how much better to be at the side of a trust guide who will start your day in the Spice market, cutting through the clutter and taking you directly to the very... I had a great day ! The experience span from 9ish in the morning until mid-afternoon, Selin is a great host, is very welcoming, and takes time to explain ! It feels a bit like if when I go home to coke with the familly (except that I am not Turkish)! I really recomment !

I really loved this experience with Taciser and her team - from the booking: (Ms. Selin responded very quickly to my emails and I really appreciate this), to the tour itself: We went to visit Spice Bazaar and not just pass by some Spice Stall, I felt we explored every nook and cranny of it. I got to taste cheeses... More

Tasicer is the best introduction to Istanbul. Sign up for a walking street food tour with her on your first day. She will introduce you to the city and the culture. You will learn what it is like to live in Istanbul and you will get comfortable with moving around and ready to get out on your own. Oh, yeah,... More

Renan met us in front of the Spice Bazaar and led us to one of the spice shops where we did a tasting. We then caught a ferry to the Asian side to participate in the cooking class. We all enjoyed preparing the food and Renan's explanation and of the dishes and the ingredients. Eating the food we prepared in... More

Renan met us on time and gave us a culinary education. The spice tasting is great fun and we sampled various delights over the evening. It's not cheap but I recommend it if your budget can stretch. I need to buy a bigger belt now!
