This is a very famous strait in Istanbul. The strait connect Europe to Asia and a cruise is recommended to experience it to its fullest, preferably at dusk.

I didn't know sea water could be turquoise fluorescent! Couldn't stop looking at it. The views on both shores are sublime. We took the regular boat almost up to the Black sea and back, a most pleasant trip.

wealthy neighbourhood and discover a rich mix of
opportunities to shop, dine, and be entertained. For
folks in search of urban buzz, not to mention a
constant reminder of just how important Istanbul’s
waterways are to its rich history, there's the

We had a simple tour, no stops on the way - departure from a pier between Halic and Eminonu. It was 15 Turkish lira per person, not crowded and very nice cruising speed, so we can enjoy the view. There were people inviting... More

Don't fall for the boat company thing unless you want to just drive around the water. When we went, we went specifically to visit the princess island, we took the tram to the dock and got tickets. It was a really nice ride... More
