This shop is located right across the Gulhane Tram stop. They have the cheapest ceramics here. If you want quality stuff you can ask the salesmen to show you those items that are kept in the basement. They usually have a lot of stuff on sale at the front of the shop. Do visit this wonderful shop for gifts.

Stumbled upon this shop and so glad I did!! Beautiful items, set prices, no pressure to buy, and kind shop keeper. He left me alone and allowed me to take my time. I purchased 2 pashminas, wish I bought more!!

I had the honor of talking for a good hour probably while shopping for shawls for my daughter and allowed me to take photos of his beautiful ware to be sent over by messaging service. I am no expert in handicrafts but I can say my daughter lit up when she saw the pictures of the shawls I have bought... More

I was looking for a turkish ceramic before heading home. We went to Grand Bazaar, Egyptian Bazaar and Sultanhamet streets and found this shop which was neighboring our hotel. The quality was good and quite a lot of selection. Bought a beautiful ceramic for a reasonable price.

One of the best shops we saw around the touristic places, better quality than others. Great attention by the staff and they even invited us to a good tea.

Stopped by this shop on my last day in Istanbul to pick up some last minute presents and found everything I was looking! If you're like me and hate going to the Grand Bazaar and being hassled by all the shopkeepers, this store is a great fit-- Kaan (one of the owners) was great and super personable. Great prices, tons... More

In my opinion, this was the best store in Istanbul. The guy at the store even helped us to store our bags before our flight and recommended places we could check out.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
