This mosque was positioned on a hill overlooking the harbor at Eminonu. Today, the local pigeons make their home in its graceful domes and arches.

It dominates the Eminönü square but is actually closed to restoration. A shame, as it’s very beautiful according to all reports

This mosque is actually not that new but possibly newer as in the timeframe of Turkish history. The mosque overlooks the harbor next to the Galata bridge on the Golden Horn. Worth a visit.

Very beautiful and ornate, its impressive and unique to this region the things and decorative details they placed on this place. Worth a trip here if you have time, especially since there are so many other things in this area to see along the way
