You will have interesting views from the bridge, but is not an outstanding place. There are many fish (and expensive) restaurants below the bridge, but the locals avoid them

Food was fine although maybe a little higher priced, but the view cannot be beat for sunset over the river.

Every walk of life can be seen on the Galata Bridge. Cold beer (even during Ramadan) & the freshest , most tender & delicious calamari I have ever had!

The old Galata Bridge with its restaurants was one of the iconic experiences of Istanbul The modern bridge does its best but lacks the same atmosphere. Eating there however remains one of the must-do experiences - but beware rip-offs!
