Mu husband loved this museum. Here you can see the military significance of Turkey throughout the last several hundred years. Whaat really impressed my husband were the boats of the sultans.

There is very little information in English available at this museum. A ground plan showing the location of the various collections would have been very useful.

Hi Virginia, There is a cafeteria situated at the ground floor of the museum. Nevertheless, the museum is so near Nisantasi district that you may find many restaurants & coffee shops.
