We went to Istanbul for 3 days and had a great time. Thanks to Nesi - she made the trip even better!! We had a lot to see in a very short period of time. She was organized, knowledgeable and made sure we saw everything. You could walk the "old city" without a guide but it is 100 times better... More

It was pleasure touring with Nessi. Highly recommended. Toured with mother, wife and sister, She was courteous, sensitive and fun. Loved my conversations with her on history pertaining to the tour and on the entire geo political situation over the years . I didn't stop asking questions and she had all the answers.

In late October, she took us on an old city Istanbul tour to Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, and Grand Bazaar. That’s a pretty standard route for Istanbul tours but it’s still a lot to do in one day. It takes a skilled guide to make you feel like you actually learned something and got some insight on a... Hello dear guest, Thank you very much for your nice comment about my guiding service. Every guide has a way:) And It is my own way to meet my guests at time planned. And second step is always to refresh our minds and talk about the plan of the day. This may delay us a bit but it is important... More

Nesime has provided guiding service for me twice. First, alone private Istanbul tour. That time made me impressed and like to get back to Turkey again. My second time with 3 people, she has arranged allover Turkey Travel for me very well. My feet never got lost on track at all. Everything was on time. The accommodation she selected, the... More

We hired Nesime to tour our family of four for our one day in Istanbul. I had an itinerary in mind for our family and Nesime was completely accommodating to fulfilling my wish list. She was very informative at each historic site and was able to weave us in and out of the sites with ease. She took us to... More

Dare I say Nesime is a Dream? Her guiding is like seeing Istanbul through a new best friend's eyes. She was so organized, warm, welcoming and informative that we both loved her. Initially we booked for a city tour, but then we were so impressed with her guiding skills we booked her again for a more specialized tour. If you... More

We had several requests and changes that we wanted to be made to the itinerary, since we had seen some sights before and didn't want to see others. She was more than willing to work around our wants and needs and adapt to our speed and tiredness. We rushed from sight to sight, and she was more than willing to... More

Based on the reviews here, I booked Nesime. She was very quick with all email responses and I found her flexible and willing to adjust my itinerary even at the last minute. She and the driver came promptly to pick me at the hotel and he sent me back at the end of each tour. One morning Nesime took me... More

We can thoroughly recommend Nesime as a delightful and informative guide who was extremely adept at understanding what we were looking for during out short time in Istanbul and providing it efficiently and with great charm and humour. My husband and son and I had a wonderful time in her company and would recommend her highly.

Staying in Grand Bazaar

Neighbourhood Profile
Grand Bazaar
Tourists, hawkers, and locals come together at the Grand Bazaar to comb its labyrinthine passageways in search of a bargain – be it a pair of brand name jeans, a handcrafted silk rug, or a perfectly brewed cup of tea. Outside the vast bazaar, worn, narrow streets wind their way down from its lofty perch to the southern shore of the Golden Horn, where the evocatively aromatic Spice Bazaar beckons alongside the elegant New Mosque (opened in 1665). Nearby, the famed Galata Bridge offers pedestrian access to urban delights across the river in Istanbul’s more residential and contemporary neighbourhoods, while the must-see sights of Sultanahmet are but a leisurely stroll away.
