Minaturk is just what it sounds like: a mini version of treasures found in Turkey. The park contains 105 models done in 1/25th scale, about half of them from Istanbul and the rest from Anatolia and the Ottoman territories outside of Turkey.

One of the best places that you can visit in Istanbul. You will have a general idea about the touristic places in all of Turkey. Also you can take a Marine taxi from Kabatas directly to Miniaturk and it will cost you only 5 Lira The entrance is 10 Lira only for one person

Miniaturk was part of our Istanbul tours. It is miniature park situated at the north eastern shore of Golden Horn in Istanbul. It is one of the world's largest miniature parks with 15,000 square meters that contains 122 models. A must-see place as seems you already have visited all the places in Turkey. This is an excellent place to recommend... More

it is an interesting place, they have miniature models of all the attractions of turkey at one place (hence the name). Should be visited if you have time, but its definitely not the first thing to see in Istanbul. P.S. - It is an outdoor activity, please check weather before going.

It s a good place to visit, and you can plan to go there after you visit Rahmi museum,or after going up to c Pierre loti ,but at summer ,you should plan to go there not before 5pm,and when you enter make sure to ask the ticket man about the closer time, coz usually they extend it in summer to 8... Really great place for kids and adults. Think of it as a menu to Turkey. Visit this place first and then decide where you would like to go. Great detail, protected, and an architectures dream. Models of all major buildings dating back to the 10th century. It's a must visit. You won't be disappointed. 2-3 hours of the day should... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
