Last time I visited was in 1972 and I still had vivid memories from my previous visit so long time ago. The rock formations, ancient mines, rock carvings depicting chariots make this a really amazing place to visit. The lake area is a tourist trap....More

Wow...just wow! I LOVED Timna Park. I spent 5 hours exploring and marveling at the immense physical beauty of this park. It was a very hot day, 100 degrees Fahrenheit, so I made sure to bring lots of water. I look forward to returning, when...More

Take your own car there, the tours are ok but getting off the beaten path rewards you with incredible sights, the old copper mines and wall drawings are worth a visit.

The nature is so overwhelmingly beautiful that even the rather pathetic attempts to popularize its story can't spoil it. If you do only one thing in Eilat let it be Timna. Go early and plan to spend at least half the day.

This was part of our tour package thus I don't know the cost. We enjoyed taking some photos of pillars. This was not the type of attraction that takes a large amount of time. If you drive in and take some photos it should take...More

We had a great time touring Timna, an excursion which combines the beauty of rock formations and history. We had an excellent guide from Desert Eco Tours, which further enhanced our experience.

Great place to visit. It is interesting and educational. We had two young children who especially enjoyed hiking paths, making sand bottles and seeing movie.

This is a huge territory which I enjoyably explored. One of the most beautiful desert type view I ever saw. And very nostalgic for me. It has huge historical and archaeological value. Pricey and very Hot. You must have a car to visit.

You can take as long as you want. There are walks to some parts that you can do or leave, many features can be done from the car - We took two to three hours and didn't do all the walks.

Do not try. It does not make sense in the heat of the desert. There are other places in Israel for cycling ... This is not really the place to go
