great perspective of the gulf. Coral Reefs are amazing and the water is crystal clear. We went when the weather was cold so we didn't get a chance to swim

No frills. Simple place with a locker room, warm showers. Went in January. Cold air, water was okay. Snorkeled an hour or so and was borderline hypothermic. Please try and bring a wetsuit. The fish and coral, unbelievable and so accessible as to be silly. You will never see a coral reef like this so close to shore. Truly amazing... More

Since it's a natural reservoir, the number of corals and fish is very high and they're very diverse. The facilities at the beach are convenient.

We travelled from Egypt which is a long and slow journey. Lots of badly managed administration crossing the border both ways.

We have seen several aquariums, including in Sydney, Australia, so we did not expect too much, but we were amazed by quality and quantity of corals and fish! Must see - do not miss!

Pay to get in, the snorkeling equipment can be rented. There are piers and marked routes, loads of sealife to be seen. It's a fantastic way of spending an afternoon, just swimming, snorkeling and enjoying yourself. There are places with floating poles, so you can rest when moving along the piers.
