This small artist's village is a delight to visit. Whimsical sculptures are displayed throughout. Ein Hod has two sections, one for shops and tourists and the second for residents. People live in both, but access to the second can be had when visiting a resident. A walking map of the artist area used to be available. Ask for it when... More

A very nice place to walk around, and eat in a local cafe or a restaurant. There are also activities for children, making their own art. You should know there is a parking lot at the beginning of the village, because you can't get in with a car. The children activities are about 200 meters away from there.

I lived in Ein Hod many years ago, and I still visit the place from time to time, to see friends and family. Very beautiful place to walk around, some workshops are open and you can either visit the artist or learn some about his work or craft.

An unique opportunity to visit artists in their own homes, studios, an unique museum dedicated to DADA movement and an interesting collection of music boxes

What a wonderful day we had walking the small streets of the village, visiting many galleries, enjoying the scenery. We also visited some studios and watched the artists as they create their art - inspiring! The whole village is filled with interesting sculptures and the high position of the vimEon Hod guarantees the most beautiful view.

Ein hood is like an outdoor Museum, and can be used as a rewarding ending or turnaround point for an easy hike from the Etzba cavern park. The trail is well-marked (part of the Israel national trail), and traverses a forested bridge overlooking the Mediterranean.
