If you aren't going to any other towns in Israel, then this market would be ok. Other than that it is mainly just small store fronts. Might be pretty if you go during Christmas when decorations are up. Save yourself for better markets.

Lots of shops and people to see. Plenty of small place to eat or get snacks. You can spend 1+ hours walking around no problem.

we enjoyed looking around at the special caracter of the buildings and the shuk - we were told that it is specially worthwhile to visit it in december when they prepare the decorations for christmas

This is an old-style spice, nut and produce market that is probably unchanged for 50+ years. Great prices and selection for fresh products. It would help to speak Hebrew or Arabic.

touring the Wadi / Open markets is an ok experience.. lot's of food stalls fruit, vegies and meat... falafel etc.. but don't expect anything else its and old not-very-clean place... nothing exciting to see... ok for 30 minutes strall
