WOW, simply amazing attraction in the city center, close to everything. The market offers you not only fruits, vegetables and delicacies, but also a dozen of pubs (!), bars, cafe and restaurants. All in one!

This is an awesome outdoor market. Just take in the sights and smells of this place. Best time to go is Friday afternoon. It's insanely busy but you will get the feel of people preparing for Shabbat. The energy there is unreal.

If you're going to Jerusalem, you should make a point of experiencing Mahane Yehuda. It's a great place to stock up on produce and dried fruit, and there are interesting restaurants.
