WOW, simply amazing attraction in the city center, close to everything. The market offers you not only fruits, vegetables and delicacies, but also a dozen of pubs (!), bars, cafe and restaurants. All in one!

This is an awesome outdoor market. Just take in the sights and smells of this place. Best time to go is Friday afternoon. It's insanely busy but you will get the feel of people preparing for Shabbat. The energy there is unreal.

Yes, the smells are free and very tantalizing. It's a bustling place and many of the market folk offer free tastes. We tried dried fruits and Halvah. We ate delicious shawarma and drooled over fabulous cakes. There's also a fabulous array of fish and meats,...More

If you're going to Jerusalem, you should make a point of experiencing Mahane Yehuda. It's a great place to stock up on produce and dried fruit, and there are interesting restaurants.

We never visit Jerusalem without paying a visit to this market. It has a great variaty of products, and all kinds of interesting booths. Considering it is a market, it is clean. Also, there are many opportunities to eat there, from great fast food stands...More

There is a nightlife tour that introduces the perticipents with bar owners and creates an opportunity to hear more about the market and what is going on there at night. I'd be glad to connect you to them if you wish
