As my surname is Ben-David automatically instigating that there are a family connection I was very emotional being at this place. To keep it real the architecture take one back to ancient times like no architecture have the power to do ( according to my understanding and experience ) If you are very much into Architecture, Antropoligy, History, Etymology and... The staff here is quite friendly and helpful. Upon buying your ticket, they will lend you the audio equipment for your self-guided tour. If your purpose in coming here is to learn, you won't be disappointed. It's a great synopsis, told via dioramas, bas relief sculptures, films, and life sized figures, of the history of Jerusalem - from pre-Abrahamic times... More

A good museum to visit in day time as well as you have a light and sound show in the evening. Evening show is a good show depicting history of Jerusalem.

Must visit for button happy tourists. Views on Old and New Jerusalem. Took a lot of pictures and videos. Been on this tower several times, never been to a museum though.

A must see before going to the Western Wall. This provides the historical context for the First Temple. It has only been open for the past 4-5 years. Great for kids. Requires a tour guide.

The museum presents a well balanced history of the city of Jerusalem from pre-Davidic times to the 20th century. The venue is great though not ancient. If you are in the Old City definitely worth the visit.
