This is a wonderful place to visit but it is not a joyful tour, There is so much to be learned from this but expect some tears.

The Museum is conveniently accessible via light rail and free tram. A gem of an architecture nicely situated with picturesque views. The museum provides an accurate, full and fair portrayal of the history of the holocaust. I found the video testimonials of the holocaust survivors to be the most moving. The videows tae you beyond the black and white stills.... More

we visited Yad Vashem with our 13 year old grandson. We had visited the Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam the day before and I felt that this would be sequentially important and impacting. It was! The museum is as beautiful as it is solemn. The quiet is interrupted only by the audio testimonials offered throughout on monitors. Those testimonials recount... More

Very well done and many components to see. Only negative comment is the food service, don't waste your time. It's split between meat and dairy, and you cannot take dairy food into the meat area and vice versa. Additionally we eat in the dairy section and found the food quality well below average.

Very moving, but unsure if I would take kids under 13. Worth a trip best to explore in the morning. The audio was helpful but the description of the exhibits provide enough material to understand

This memorial museum was done very well without being maudlin. This is a place where everyone must visit to understand what happened in the ghettos and in the concentration camps.

This is Israel's largest Holocaust memorial museum that really presents everything so well. The main exhibition flows chronologically and you can't miss the children's memorial where names of children victims are read. This is a very moving museum and a must on any trip to Israel.
