The Church of St Anne is worth your time if you come to Jerusalem. Although it is not among most of the "highlights tours" that are offered to your attention, it deserves better. Because it is one of the three only Crusader-era buildings still standing...More

The Church of Saint Anne is dedicated to the mother of Virgin Mary. The church is plain without decorations. Therefore, maybe, the acoustics of this big church is extraordinary. Many groups of people have prepared to sing a song or a hymn when they are...More

The constant stream of choirs singing in the center of the church is wonderful to behold and hear. This is adjacent to the pool of Bethesda where the paralytic was healed

If you like to sing, this is the place to do that. The acoustics are wonderful and it was a thrill to sing acappella with my family.

You'll know you're close because you'll likely hear the singing coming out the front doors. It's most famous for its acoustics, with the echoing sound bouncing around the stone room.

Magnificent in its simplicity, this church, run by the French White Fathers, is a beautiful place in which to pray and worship. Get up early for Mass at 7.45 am - gentle, dignified and deeply moving.

The acoustics in this building is breath taking and is a must on a visit to the Old City. Sing in different voices, a few octaves apart and listen.
