Being up top is one thing (and amazing) but being where the construction started is really sobering. The ability of the ancients to conceive such an amazing building, let alone actually construct it, is both humbling and sobering.

We went on the tunnel tour with our tour group and the guide explains the history of the tunnels and how they were made; it was so fascinating to learn about the history of what the tunnels were used for in ancient days; if you had difficulty walking or were claustrophobic it was abused not to go down in the... The site is very interesting, and I was glad I found the time to do the tour. Excellently presented and informative tour by "good Jake".

The tunnels were one of the highlights of our two week trip through Israel. Most people think of the wailing wall as the above ground part of the western wall. But there is so much more underneath the Arab section! Don't go if you are claustrophobic, as there are many narrow passageways and low ceilings. Midway, there is a nice... More

The Western wall is one of the retaining walls for the temple mount, which is central to the religious traditions of both Muslims and Jews. The tour here provides great visuals and helps you to understand what an enormous undertaking it was to build. The tunnels help you to understand that what you see on the surface is just one... Not my thing, totally boring and repetitive, hard to fathom how that much information can be discussed and speculated about things that happened thousands of years ago...I would have done the whole thing myself in 20 minutes instead of an hour.

This is my second time on the tour and both provided tons of nuggets and historical information. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and animated. To see and touch history right in front of you is an awesome experience.

At first I thought it would be one of those tours, you know, a little boring, but I was wrong and it became one of the most special moments of my trip to Jerusalem. Our guide was amazing and you can step on real history, learning a lot about the Judaism, why the western wall is so important to them.... More

Getting access to places where you are not normally able to go - seeing an underground section of the Western Wall - make this a great short trip in Jerusalem. Our guide was very informative for the historical description of how things came about in Jerusalem. They have many languages for these tours so make sure you get the correct... More

Our team took a tour of the underground tunnels, and it was wonderful. The guide was so informative. It was truly amazing. One of the highlights of our trip.
