The "Burnt House" is a magnificent structure that was discovered during excavations following the Six Day War. Watch an audio-visual presentation depicting the priestly Katros family during the end of the Second Temple period, as mentioned in the Talmud. Understand the significance of the Jewish revolt, and the values of the family living in this period.

This place really describes what went through the minds of people during the time of the Roman siege. It reflects on the divisions and also the dashed hopes. The best part is the film. The archaeology is small but adds to the whole attraction. It...More

This site only takes about 20 minutes and is a fictional movie about the family that may have lived in this house and what it would have been like when the Roman's invaded. It is included in the "nine attractions for 100 nis" ticket sold...More

The site is something to behold and the artifacts are cool. However, the video is not that great and does not explain that much about the archeological site. Instead it's a fictional retelling of how the family might have lived. If you only have a...More

Only restaurant with view of Western Wall, it was a great lunch stop. The St John's fish was tasty and the pasta and all the salads were delicious. Air conditioned.

just ducked in here not really knowing what it was, the movie was too long but the story is interesting and the artifacts are too. Good if you're interested in archaeology and history and such.

Second time viewing this. Would do a third time. Great for kids but a bit gory with a Roman killing people
