This must-see destination in Tel Aviv includes one of Israel’s newest museums, the state-of-the-art Israeli Museum, which is the only one of its kind in the country that explores the history and development of the modern democratic State using the biography of Yitzhak Rabin as a connecting thread. This is our 9th trip to Israel and we always use Tel Aviv as our base. We usually come for 1-3 months and have never once visited the YR Center. Were we surprised at the interesting day we had. We spent 3 1/2 hours touring the center which not only covers Yitzhak Rabin's life but the story of Israel. You... More

The video clips and the exhibits made the story of Yitzhak Rabin's like, which is also much of Israel's history, come alive. Very good.

If you want to get a great sense of the history of Modern Israel and statehood, this is a terrific museum. You'll learn all about Rabin, but also gain great insight into the larger story of the founding of Israel and the subsequent challenges to keep it safe and thriving. The exhibit is very modern and well thought out. Again,... More

When I visited the The Yitzhak Rabin Center I did not know what to expect until I when inside and started to read and listen the audio piece guide. I learned the history of a courageous and awesome leader whom everyone respect and supported and believed in to take Israel where it is today. He was a really peace agent.... More

This is an excellent museum pictoraly showing the milestones in Israel's history. It is much more that showing the history of Yitzhak Rabin. The museum displays conflicts that exist(ed) within Israel society, and really encourages the visitor to see how seemingly uneventful events shaped our country. Very thought provoking. Suitable for adults and teenagers, not for children. Although there are... More

Extremely well-done and very user-friendly. State-of-the-art presentations. While there is a subtle political agenda -- not totally neutral, it presents the life of a very important statesman/soldier who was assassinated. The Center's exhibits also gives an excellent review of Zionism and Israeli History.

This is a wonderful multi media museum that tells the story of Israel thru the life of Rabin. He was a really great man and it comes thru at the museum. Israel has a big tourist industry and their attractions are generally extremely well done and accessible in English. Leave at least three hours for this attraction
