We had a small diner which was absolutely OK. Be ready for stiff prices though. It is rather popular as it was full house around 9/10pm. That said, we ate better meals for far better value all in the near vicinity: Rothschild Blvd.

The museum's architecture itself is worth a visit: plain and simple but very expressive style combining the modern with the old part of the museum. The art collection is amazing comprising many of the 19th and 20th centuries' most important artists such as Monet, Picasso, Munch and many more.

Besides the fabulous art collection, from modern and old Israeli artists, the new design of the additional building is definitely worth seeing too. Very interesting architecture. My favourite painting is a Chagall called 'Solitude' donated by the artist himself. Very special. It was refreshing to see how many people were there , even the coffee shop was full!

.Whether you're in the city for a weekend or a month, this place has to be visited. The museum is on Shaul Hamelech st (king solomon st in hebrew) and is located right in between Tel Aviv's court, and a library called Beit Ariella. The building itself is very special and roaming around the museum is always a pleasure. The... More

Tel Aviv Museum has its own personal characteristic, historical pieces are mainly related to jewish settlement and its evolution..I had visited several museum and art gallery of israel and were in fact an inspiration to some of my paintings.

The Tel Aviv Museum has a new wing and its a knock out! The architecture of the museum is such that one area leads you to another by giving you a peak at what's next! The new addition of so many sensational impressionist paintings is unexpected and delightful....Dali....Picasso....Monet....Sisley....all blend together to make for a great experience enhanced by the design... Right in the centre of the museum there is an open air model of Jerusalem as it was before the temple was destroyed. It is fascinating for anyone who knows his/her Bible. It is very realistic and a must for anyone visiting the city. With some imagination you can relive life as it was thousands of years ago in this... More

The museum is a jewel of the city, especially the traveling exhibits. If you are looking for Chagall, Picasso and modern Israeli artists, take 1/2 day and visit the museum. Very easy to walk around--no stairs-- and the exhibits are in brightly lit huge spaces-- perfect for viewing some amazing sculpture. The cafe was less than wonderful, but I didn't... More
