Masada and the Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv

741 reviews
Combine visits to the Dead Sea and Masada on this full-day trip from Tel Aviv, a great way to tick off more attractions in less time. Eliminate the hassle of car hire and travel in an air-conditioned coach instead. During at stop at Masada, your guide provides information crucial to understanding the landmark. Back at sea level, float in the salty Dead Sea, where you can book therapeutic treatments (own expense).

A must see when visiting Tel Aviv. Located in an attractive surrounding neighborhood, the market is bustling with locals and tourists. The produce is lovely and abundant. It was fun being introduced to a delicious unknown fruit by its grower. Lots of little things sold in this area at a variety of stalls. A very entertaining cultural experience.

I love coming to this market. It's absolutely stock-full of anything you could need, from delicious, freshly-made foods (zaatar pita, spices, figs, dates, falafel) to clothing to anything and everything. It's normally pretty packed, and even more so right before the Sabbath starts on Friday nights because everyone's trying to buy things at the last minute, so be prepared for crowds.

The Carmel market was a good experience - very large, very vibrant, easy to reach and an opportunity to mix up with locals a bit. One of the best markets I've visited in the country.
