This museum was booked as the Diaspora which we believed would be interesting, however, this exhibit was closed for renovation. It was the Jewish Comedy museum instead. It was interesting, but not worth a stop.

We visited this museum on the day prior to our group tour of Israel primarily based on reviews on trip advisor. We were aware of the renovation. We had been considering the Palmach museum and chose this one. Since we were so disappointed with this...More

This museum is so nicely curated. The exhibits are fascinating and allow you to really learn. Added bonus: it is located on the beautiful campus of Tel Aviv University.

My guidebook told me that this was a must see, unfortunately it was under renovation when we visited in February 2018. However what we did see was very impressive: I especially loved the synagogues from all over the world and the tongue in cheek video...More

Because the museum is undergoing renovations, there weren't a lot of exhibits. Cautionary note: senior citizen rate literally means "citizen" of Israel. Senior rate was not honored.

this is the prototype for museums that have sprung up worldwide. Interesting of course, but beautifully designed with marvelous exhibits; campus itself is worth a visit; one can spend part of the day just wandering.

This museum is an excellent place to start a visit to Israel, let alone Tel Aviv. The main collection was undergoing renovation, but the synagogue displays and the audio/video offerings were engaging and entertaining. We loved it!
