Jaffa aka Yafo is one of the oldest towns in the world, Being one of the major port-city of Israel for thousands of years. This old port area is now renovated , while the parents can enjoy the marvelous sights, drop by an art- gallery and stare at the see, the kids can run in the narrow alleys , take... More

It includes a wide open area along the beach , good restaurants and coffee shops, a modern farmer market and some shops. It is very relaxing just to walk and wander around . At night the lace turns very romantic. Pne of... More

Although an ancient port, so far as I can tell, most of what you now see dates back to Ottoman times. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area. We'd have enjoyed it more if we'd read about it in advance.

A bustling nicely developed area for all to have a stroll, a dinner or a drink by the sea. It is well controlled so feels safe. Diverse shopping, eating and attraction for kids, youngsters and everyone else really. I would say avoid Saturday lunchtime, it can be overwhelmingly busy but apart from that a great night out!

Every hour of the day, there are people around having fun. There are nice coffee shops and small restaurants and other shops along the port. You can exercise, take a walk, there are some areas you can play beach volleyball whenever you want. Not too noisy, mostly the waves crashing to the beach and giving you very peaceful environment.

Nice area with many restaurants, boardwalk, shops. Easy location to walk to and close to the beach. Parking is available if you drive and close to public transportation. Not too hectic or crazy like other beaches.
