The monument is in one corner of the square and slightly hard to find, but this is the spot where Mr. Rabin was assassinated and so therefore is in the most appropriate spot. The broken concrete blocks of the monument accurately give a sense of...More

If you're in the area, you should definitely visit the place where Yitzhak Rabin was gunned down. There's a small monument and a plaque showing the location and events that led to his death.

It is in plain site, free to see and records a sad day for Israel when Rabin was assassinated. It is a little more dramatic to see in the evening.

Having been in Israel during the time, Theevent itself got blown way out of propostion. As a result, the monument that was build combined the head bust of Mr. Rabin and some broken rocks symbolizing the earthquake his assassination caused. I could use with it.

Very busy area. It would help if you read a little bit about the events that occurred in this plaza before you go. Very historical, and speaks to the heart of what is currently going on politically in Israel.

Not much to look at. Much to consider when you think of what might have been if his vision had been fulfilled!
