The Tayelet is Tel Aviv's (concrete) boardwalk. It goes the length of the Tel Aviv beach, but a walker can continue south through Jaffa or north for a few miles. Highlights: The Aviv Port area (no longer a real port but a great mecca for food, drink and people. Restaurant by the sea (below a string of hotels) The beach... More

it is always renewing itself, the view of the beach and the sitting zones are lovely, the restaurants are great... the distance to the "Hayarkon" Tel Aviv park is short, so you can take a green bike, from the bike-rental, and have the greatest tour ever! love this city!! I live in Israel, but yet, every time coming there i... More

The Tayelet has been expanded now since I was last there. It has opened up so much more space for walking and running by the sea. It is so beautiful there and in the early evening you can sit in the cafes and have a drink whilst watching the sun go down! It has really opened up the whole beach/coast... More

Excellent place to be at any time day or night. Not quite clean as it deserves but beautiful... The nicest beach area of Tel Aviv with many different attraction day and night in safety.

Right on the beach, the Tel Aviv promenade is perfect for watching the sea, for romantic sunsets or just for people watching. You can walk/run the entire 10km from Tel Baruch in the north to Jaffa in the south.

Walked in the morning, walked during the height of the weekend and worked in the evening and enjoyed all of them. When there are less people, the popular electric bikes get up quite a speed along the walkway, so make sure you keep out of the lane reserved for bikes, as they do not take too kindly to tourists meandering... Tayelet ( boardwalk ) is the site for a nice sunset-time walk or a bicycle ride. A chilled beer and a small-talk some friends might also be a lovely option.

It is the only place in the world to see people walking on the street in vacations wearing baidingsu and people in their middle of business meeting. Walk to the new pirt or to Jaffa. Afternoon evning is the best weather. Stay for beer at. Joya bar and enjoy the view.

A sunset walk here is special. I love the setting and busy flow of all walks of life and it's a long wide path with lots of cool stops on the way. Free and fun. Safe and very nice fresh sea breezes
