I'm not an architecture fan, so enjoyed this neighborhood for other reasons. Rothschild has a promenade down the center with bike lane and walking lane. At any hour, it felt safe to walk around. Locals come here to walk their dogs, play with their children,...More

There are plenty of white buildings in Tel Aviv that aren't so white and are in need of some major TLC. But look around carefully and you'll see a splendor of truly Bauhaus based white buildings unlike anywhere in the world. That's why Tel Aviv...More

This tour was wonderful to listen as the birth of the Nation was relayed to me in its architecture. David was our guide, he was knowledgable, intelligent, and sensitive. This was especially difficult with a group of over 150 tourists on a holiday Saturday morning...More

Worth taking the 11am Bauhaus walking tour that starts on Rothschild Blvd. You get an overview of the history of the city and the changes that have occurred as world events happened.

The guide (Daniel) was well informed and interesting and anyone interested in Bauhaus architecture and how it developed in Tel Aviv, will enjoy this tour. Moderate walking is involved and the tour takes about 2 hours.
