If you have time for one side trip from Amman, make it Petra. Carved 2,300 years ago by the Nabataeans, this southern Jordan UNESCO-listed rock city is one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. This private tour whisks you there and back in a day by private air-conditioned vehicle and with an itinerary customizable to your wishes. Hotel pickup and drop-off is included, with optional local guiding at Petra at own expense.

It is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Amman, it is becoming a walking area, full of shops and restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and more. Many good good restaurants offering a large variety of food from junk food to 5 stars meals. Visitors of Jordan highly recommended to visit this beautiful area of Amman.
