This is fairly cheap option for visit to Dead Sea for Western people. Place is quite bare, but there is showers, lockers and etc. here. Fairly good quality-price ratio restaurant. We just want to swim at Dead Sea and this was good enough place for that. Family of four with two teenage children. We were there about two hours and... More

Came here as part of our 3-day package in Jordan on a multi-country tour. The pools are nice (but a bit cold this time of year) and the necessary facilities are there, but you might as well shell out a few more JD to go to a resort where there won't be ridiculous add-on fees (towels and mud bath--did I... We had a rental car doing a day trip from Amman. We wanted to have a dip in the Dead Sea without paying the earth. We settled on Amman Beach. Don't confuse this with their neighbour, Amman Beach Resort. Anyway, we paid our money and walked into a garbage pit. There was garbage strewn all over the beach and the... More

A real tourist must - how can you visit Jordan without floating in the Dead Sea? This is the cheapest legal way to do that. In February the air temperature is around 18° in the afternoon but the sunshine made it feel warmer. The seawater is comfortable too. Be careful getting in as crystallized salt in the shallows is hard... More

Amman Tourist Beach is probably the cheapest out of all the resorts by the Dead Sea. It's frequented by local people. You can see families, couples, boys and girls swimming, hanging out here. As you walk down the main stairs on the right, there is a huge family swimming pool. If you keep walking, you see the female changing room... More

Such beautiful views! I read that many people swim in all months, including December, which is when I visited. While the temperature is somewhat warmer than the city, its still cold...about 55 F. I still got in anyways because I knew I might not get the chance again. Be sure to wear water shoes and a bathing suit that you... More

Had a short visit to Amman and aint wanted to leave without a dip in the Dead Sea. This place can be conveniently visited with a taxi from Amman, on the way back you ask to be dropped at the airport. for the 20JOD entry fee you get some basic but satisfactory facilities, most importantly to take a shower after... This beach club is well worth a visit. it is cheap to visit - cheaper than the local hotels - and is well equipped, has a lovely series of swimming pools, rents towels, a nice restaurant and a nice beach with chairs to lounge on when one isn't floating in the Dead Sea, It is well worth a visit -... The facility was great. 20JD includes admission to the dead sea as well as the pool, and use of their showers + lockers - i would recommend it as you'll be super sticky after the swim. It was clean and we (3 girls) weren't hassled by the locals or anyone for that matter. Instead of paying extra 3JD for mud,... More
