- Multiple_SarcasmsBengaluru, India142 contributionsF1 2023 - Bahrain GPLove it, this was my third F1 experience, and I loved it. I had tickets to Batelco, you can see so much of the track fro the seats, I wish they would increase the number of Screens (My only complaint) If you are coming with little kids they have lots of options for entertainment, so you can watch F1 and F2 while the kids enjoy themselfs. There is free bus service, I would sugges that Uber becomes 6 time the normal cost at the end of the day. Wear shorts and t shirt + cap its very hot in the day, and bing a light jacket sun goes down it can be a little cold for some people. Overall its an amazing location for live F1 if you are a fan.Visited March 2023Travelled with friendsWritten August 29, 2023
- Cormac McCaugheyNorthampton, United Kingdom77 contributionsF1 visitGood facility for the F1. The Beyon stand had some great views of the track - sitting to the left A or B is probably a better view. Catering facilities were good, toilets were clean, seats gave all the spectators a comfortable view. Getting in and out of the circuit can be problematic - arriving early and leaving a little later advised.Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten March 2, 2024
- Adam FOxted, United Kingdom44 contributionsOne of the best F1 circuits I’ve been toHere for the F1 in 2024 and on the whole a very good circuit. Food was overpriced as you would expect, no surprise really, but there was a good variety. Facilities at the circuit are very good and clean. Certainly the cleanest toilets at any F1 circuit I’ve been to. Transportation to the circuit was excellent, especially if you’re staying in one of the hotels where the bus starts from. Transportation from the circuit was chaotic to say the least, there needs to be better organisation of what buses go where otherwise you end up here, there and everywhere trying to figure it out.Visited March 2024Travelled soloWritten March 3, 2024

Unless there is an event it is a Dire, truly useless experience. You get to look at a bit of the circuit from an empty stand then visit an overpriced gift shop. A truly awful addition to a bahrain tour. Looking at a defunct oil refinery had more interest. Avoid at all costs

My first ever Grand Prix, am I glad I did Bahrain
Everything was mapped out and so organised
We stayed at the intercontinental in Manama
Shuttles and schedules to and from the hotel to the circuit with representatives in the hotel lobby
The Bahrain International Circuit is pleasantly run and the officials on duty are so pleasant.
I love the entertainment between the races the food available - everything
I was super thrilled to be there but also I’m glad I chose this as my first Grand Prix experience
The country itself is small and nice for just a grand prix visit and minimal sight seeing
The toilets and facilities at the Bahrain International Circuit are clean well Kept. I would have just liked a little more shaded seating with water spraying fans and something for the flies but I can’t complain as it wasn’t terrible.
Well done Bahrain and thank you for having us
I travelled from South Africa and a big thank you to Elan from Take Off Travel for organising our flights, race tickets and Accomodation and for answering and getting back to me with all my queries - +27 (72) 890-9323

We went to all 3 days of the 2023 F1 Grand Prix weekend. The facilities at the track are excellent so would fully recommend you making the effort to come in 2024. Only downside is the extortion on taxi fares returning in the evening. Taxis are always supposed to run on meters but this rule seems to have some flexibility. Be prepared to pay BD 30 - 50 to return to Manama…

Greta Van Fleet
Al Dana Amphitheatre Manama Bahrain
2/2/2023
I must say, Greta Van Fleet was an awesome concert from what I can remember of it. My buddy, Hans Mercado kept feeding me two beers at a time all night long which made it quite difficult to video or take good close up pictures.
Ever since I saw it advertised in Facebook, I made it a point to go see it. And I talked it up at work as much as I could. The only person who took an interest in it though was Hans. Sami Bukhari was interested and did show up in Manama, but still missed the show.
I had heard of this band from a few people in the know and had Youtubed them a few times. I liked the way they sounded. And it’s true, they were inspired by Led Zeplin and it really shows in their performance, especially the lead singer’s vocal range.
Greta Van Fleet is an American rock band from Frankenmuth, Michigan, formed in 2012. It consists of Kiszka brothers Josh, Jake and Sam; and Danny Wagner. They were signed to Lava Records in March 2017, and a month later they released their debut studio EP, Black Smoke Rising. Wikipedia
Record labels: Lava Records, Republic Records
Albums: The Battle at Garden's Gate, MORE
Awards: Grammy Award for Best Rock Album, MORE
Genre: Hard rock, Blues rock, Progressive rock, Rock
Origin: Frankenmuth, Michigan, United States (2012)
Last year, I had heard about the Al Dana Amphitheatre as I had found out that Eric Clapton was coming to Manama, Bahrain. And at Eric’s age of 75, I wasn’t about to miss this show. I’ve been a huge fan most of my life. His song Wonderful Tonight was mine and my ex-wife Mary Ann’s theme song as I had played it for her the day we met at The Red Carpet Lounge where I was DJing.
Carved from the rock of the spectacular Sahkir desert, Al Dana Amphitheatre is Bahrain’s newest and most exciting live entertainment destination. Driven by a vision to create globally recognized entertainment experiences in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the extraordinary venue merges the desert landscape with state-of-the-art technology. A place where imagination comes to life, they offer four dynamic event spaces - the breath-taking open-air Amphitheatre, the extraordinary Quarry Lounge, the refreshing Desert Garden and the spacious open-air Plaza. Catering for everything from iconic star-studded concerts to special indoor celebrations, they seek to ignite the imaginations of guests and
artists alike, creating magical and unforgettable moments in a one-of-a-kind setting. Al Dana Amphitheatre has the ability to delight and inspire audiences with its dramatic and complex design. Featuring an impressive 10,000 seat amphitheatre, construction of the remarkable venue first began in December 2018. Completed in June 2020, it took less than 2 years to bring the vision to life.
Al Dana Amphitheatre was built with the community in mind and has a long-term vision to support and promote home-grown talent. As well as hosting incredible international concerts with chart-topping artists and private events in Bahrain, the venue can be used by the whole community.
Built on a long-standing cultural tradition of music appreciation, they believe entertainment has the power to bring people together, help connect with one another and bring joy and vibrancy to a community.
It is a beautiful theatre. I especially like the crudity of the bathrooms. Artistic in its construction with raw materials organized in a thematic manner. And the lounge is quite creative in its décor of vegetation.
Platinum list is the ticketmaster for this venue. It is a trusted end-to-end platform that is built to sell tickets for all kinds of entertainment events, business, sports, online events, attractions and tours and much more.
They hire some really ignorant folks though. This is the only problem I had with this event. I ordered my tickets on-line using my credit card. It went through and tickets were offered. Then ten minutes later it told me my credit card failed. So, I tried it again. Again, ten minutes later, my credit card failed. So I tried a new card. This card failed also. So I tried my debit card. It went through with no problem. 48 hours before the concert, I was given 6 tickets and three parking places. I checked my bank account and I was charged three times.
I went to their site helpdesk and told them what was going on. I talked to a guy named Zainab and he insisted I go to his email and give him the ticket numbers and the declined charges. As requested, I submitted the information he asked for. So he gives me six more tickets and three more parking places.
This problem never did go away. Right now, all it’s showing is two charges on my credit card and one on my debit card. And I still want my money back.
I am putting this out there so that if anyone else goes through this problem, they will think twice before continuing with their purchase. Platinumlist needs to have a better means of dealing with their customers. I’m very dissatisfied with their service. Al Dana should find a better client because they do offer a wonderful facility and some great talent.

It is nit difficult to be in F1 Bahrain. Buy a ticket on line through BIC website.
Book a hotel in Sofitel Hotel.. 3 mins away .. or in the Wyndham Grand Manama or any 4 star hotels.
These hotels will take you to F1 Circuit everyday as part of their welcome service.
Otherwise, just take a taxi and ask the driver to BIC Circuit.
Bahrain is a very welcoming country. The people are hospitable.

Are you limited to staying in the grandstands or can you walk around the track and get other vantage points?

You can walk around. Pit pass is extra. A box seat is a great way to watch. The last box as they come out of the pit is best. Food and alcohol is provided. We had a package deal with room and box seats. It was one in a lifetime event but worth it. We got autographs of both Mercedes drivers while there.

As a woman traveling to Bahrain for the F1 race in April, I would like to know how to dress for this event and traveling to and from the event.

Bahrain is a modern country and is open to all cultures. You can wear whatever attire that suits you. Generally ladies wear short skirts and sleeveless tops for Grand Prix event. Some young girls wear jeans and shirts. So you can dress up however you want to. Bahrain is an open country. You will have a lot of fun here.
