There is nowhere to look that isn't beautiful. Complicated mosaic inlays abound, and the minarets look to be from an ancient fairy tale. Look up at every ceiling.

Covered in colorful glazed tiles this is quite stunning from the exterior although they should really clean up the area around it. Inside the rooms while not large are totally covered in faceted mirror segments and are breathtaking.

This is to be visited during any religious holiday: the people and their activities will mesmerize you. You won't understand a word, but you'll feel the power of faith.

A few steps extending out from the Tajrish metro station would bring this beautiful mosque before your eyes. Ladies, you need to pick up a cloth to cover yourself completely before you enter the premises. The most attractive thing about it are the crafted mirrors that cover up the walls.
