It is accessible by metro, which is nice, but the location itself is in some bus station like looking area, so there isn't anything else to see or to do there. However the tower is quite impressive, i'm happy I took the trip there.

Well,it's one of the main attractions of Tehran.for many years, it was the symbol of Tehran the capital. Now ,it stands at the second place. After Milad tower.

Forget Milad tower and come here instead. Azadi tower is something more unique. I believe that this is a modern translation of Persian Architecture. Symmetry, the pattern, the colours symbolize it perfectly. Unfortunately during my visit there were some construction going on so I could not go inside. But observing it fro outside is already good enough.

I went here in Jan 2017. It is very near to Mehrabad Airport and I went straight from the airport. The tower is uniquely built and it takes some time to absorb and admire the uniqueness. There is nothing much to do apart from that, may be just roaming around the tower and clicking pictures, and that's what I did... More
