The causeway consists of two bridges linking Doha ( the shorter one) and Sabia (longer bridge - the one am reviewing). Last weekend capitalising on the sunny beautiful weather I have removed the car top and took my wife for a cruise. There are two ways to catch the causeway one straight taking the Ghazali road 60 from Shuwaik or the round about towards the end of the free trade zone area. I took the later but unfortunately the are no proper road signs to facilitate catching the bridge. The road consists of 3 lanes with emergency side one, the speed limit is 100 Km/hour with ample of speed cameras to assure compliance. Since its a cruise/ride to enjoy I set my car cruiser at 100 Km/h so I don't violate the traffic law and focus on the scenery, it took around 45 minutes each way at the preset speed with a short stop for photos, there are 2 islands Northern and Southern ones with marinas half way through but unfortunately not yet open to the public despite completion of construction work. It's worth noting that every Saturday from 7.30 am till 10:30 the bridge is closed for cars and used only for cyclist ( I presume seasonal restrictions). The end of the road is rather odd and should have been given the same attention given to the causeway. Overall highly recommended to visit at least once

Saturday morning, nice place to visit with families... passing through the bridge, stop on the middle of the bridge for selfie and enjoying the seaside, watching Kuwait City afar, and then connecting to the desert land - exit at 6th Ring road.
