Everything in Kuwait is expensive, even compared to the surrounding gulf region. It's understandable, considering Kuwait's currency is the world's strongest. The Kuwait Towers are no exception. Pricey admission tickets allow you passage up to one of the observation domes for a view of Kuwait city. The views are interesting, if not all that clear (the domes are quite tinted.) The towers are a must see, as they are quite possibly the only recognizable landmark in Kuwait.

Due to time constraints, I told the guard that I just wanted to take pictures of this attraction. He waived me in and looked for perfect spot to take pictures of this attraction and do some selfies. There are beautiful flowering plants surrounding this attraction. In the background is the beautiful Arabian Gulf. Note that there are restaurants at the top floor of this attraction

The three remarkable towers on a promontory reaching into the Persian Gulf are of Danish design. The tallest tower is 187m. Built in 1979 they meanwhile could be called historic structures and look less impressive than the modern skyscrapers encircling them from the landside. Still functional as water towers ensuring pressure in the water pipes of Kuwait city, they are also exploited as a tourist attraction.
