Over-rated, a bit scruffy, rubbish on the ground, fencing broken and the traffic noise. Not really appealing to spend time as a tourist. There is a view of the rocks and sea but not worth the trip.

I live in a city with a corniche, but this was on another level. Great view and quite the long walk. Few places to get a coffee or food along the water and a place to rent bikes. All in all, great experience.

during the day great place to walk or jog, evening it gets crowded with locals taking their walks. The best place to observe Lebanese social and ethic diversity. If you are a runner, great running path more than 7 km!

The place is lovely for a walk and enjoyable in both winter and summer. The sea view also make it pleasant at any time of the day. However, it can sometimes be dirty and overcrowded, for its a very popular area.

We enjoyed walking along the Corniche in the evenings. The walk is clearly defined, lots of locals and tourists alike enjoying the breeze. Along the way there are assorted cafes and seats to just sit and enjoy the view after a long day of site...More

There is a corniche in many seaside cities of the world. Marine Drive in Mumbai is one of my favourties. The Beirut Corniche has won my heart too! Running for several kilometers along the Mediterranean Sea on the extreme border of Beirut, the Corniche walkway...More

Partly promenade with lots of cafés, restaurants, food outlets and even a Luna park along Beirut's seashore. Striking is the diversity of people coming here; fishermen, jogging women in their 40s, young cyclists, families with children, older overweight men walking their dog, couples in romance,...More
