The promenade abutting the northern edge of the city was frequently described as “a ritual,” “obligation,” and “compulsory” in various guidebooks so it was naturally my first stop after check-in at my hotel. I made almost daily travels here at various times (usually at night) and to different areas of the walkway. If you enjoy simply watching the human kaleidoscope... More

I like going to this place. The view of the sea is always relaxing. You can come to exercise, cycling or just walking. Free parking available along the Corniche.

I highly recommend a walk along Mediterranean Sea on The Corniche. I enjoyed it on Easter Sunday and stopped for food and drink. It was bustling with families.

About four kilometres long but all Beirut's inhabitants visit to breathe the sea fresh air and enjoy the walk along it. There are cafes like palace cafe where you think you are sitting in the water for a while

It is a nice place to walk or jog during the day time. The crowed has reminded me with Qasr El Nile in Cairo. There are some trolleys for food.

Evey time we visit Lebanon it is a must that we take a walk on this nice corniche. Best time to be there is at the sunset time as you will be astonished with this romantic view. Best thing to do is that you should enjoy eating the lebanese sweets and the delicious ice cream that you can get from... More

For me, a walk along the corniche is a must. Not only is it a pleasant walk with lots of interesting sites, but you get to feel what living in Beirut must be like. You can take frequent breaks and sit and watch the many couples, friends and families enjoy themselves. There's lots of food places, snacks and even an... More

Its a lively corniche full of people 24 Hrs a day and there are small carts selling different type of traditional foods. You can smoke hubbly bubbly with cup of coffee. You can jog or ride a pike. Its next to the down town and famous AUB(American university)
