Trendy part of beirut with all-new most uninhabited apartments and international brand shops. Not much to see if you are not planning to buy from high end brands. However one must go to the open air mall in Solidere known as Beirut Souks.

New developments post war era, Modern highrise buildings offering modern brand name shopping. Very little evidence remaining of Old Beirut. Not sure if I was surprised or dissapointed as I feel the culture is lost,.

This is also called the downtown of Beirut. It is a very nice place for shopping and enjoying the view from one of the cafes. There is a cinema too and you can find people walking around with their pets.
