This place is definitely worth a visit. You can easily get lost amongst the maze of shops lining the little alley ways. Each time you go, you discover new things, new bargains and new experience. But a word a of warning...if you like something then...More

Visited on a hot day at 10.30 in the morning. Really quiet. No different to other markets. Really not worth the trouble unless you go at night when we were told it comes "alive"

This Souq is spotlessly clean and devoid of the usual hassle and high pressure salesmen normally associated with these type of areas. It is spotlessly clean and is a place where you can purchase a tortoise, a falcon, a huge diamond or even a dustpan...More

It's nice upon a glance and at a first visit. After that you see it for what it is... a tourist bubble, with no substance

'Interesting' taxidermy shops, narrow alleyways, undercover areas for respite during the heat of the day, foodies in the evening, nearby sights such as the camel pen, horse stable and falcon souq.

We just walked around to find a place to eat. It is a decent sized market. All restaurants had a menu outside so you could see prices and what they offered. It's all casual and most has outside seating to see the market and... More
