Something for every one. Would you tell a friend to pay to skip the line? What exactly does that mean?

Souq Waqif is quite modern with traditional aspects. The layout is simple, but one can still get lost. Good exposure to the local culture and definitely a stimulation of all your senses, in a good way. Definitely a place for shopaholics to visit and bargain...More

Classic old style Qatari souq. Step back in time and enjoy the old mixing with the new. Quality not always good but they are open to bargaining.

After going to the Islamic museum of art, we went to the souq waqif. Being a Friday evening, there was so much going on. Lots of displays, happy revellers and lots of outdoor places to eat. We had the most awesome avocado juice and fruit...More

Very nice Souq full of cafe's, restaurants, shops, shisha and just generally a really nice walk in the evening! On weekends there is always some sort of entertainment on.

Central gathering place and shopping. All kinds of people moving through. Great people watching. Wide range of restaurants and bazaar type shopping. Feels safe and people are friendly.

A modern incarnation of a traditional market. A lot of variety by very compact, it can be crossed in just a few minutes. Close to the MIA, it’s a must on any visit to Doha, however brief.

Weather not too bad at this time of year. There is a lot of cloud and also a nice breeze - but still fairly warm. It is dark after 5pm and I think the souk opens at around 4.30 to 5pm. I think you will have time to visit... More
