This stationary barge serves as a 'marketing teaser' for Msheireb. Now that the Msheireb Museums are open to the public, I think it's rather redundant. That said, it's great if you want a quick cultural fix while in Doha's business district and only have 30 minutes to spare. The displays are generally informative and well presented and the view on... More

The Mshreib museums were all fascinating. We spent several hours there and enjoyed all of them. All were very well presented and very informative.

As we drove into the complex, it looked empty, but we followed signs to parking garage. There was a security guard to direct us up the elevator, then another employee motioned us in to the first building. They couldn't have been more helpful with info and water. There are four separate museums. The first building was on slavery, the second... More

If you have a spare half an hour in Doha and are near the Corniche at West Bay, the Msheireb Enrichment Centre is worth a look. The centre is setup to showcase the developments of the Msheireb Properties group, but it also provides some interesting displays on Doha's past whilst also including a glimpse of what Doha will look like... The Centre is actually a barge anchored along the Corniche. It depicts Doha from the end of WWII to the current redevelopment of the old downtown Doha. It describes the heritage that the design Msheirib Downtown Doha Redevelopment Project is based on and it provides a detailed and interactive model of the project. The visit would not take more than... More

Good overview of the Msheirib development. If you have 15mins to spare call in and look around. I felt there could have been a lot more information on strategy for once it is completed.
