Simple but unique. It gives you a real squeezed view of the past. People are still loyal to it buying thier daily stuff from it. Dont for get to try its local "Karak" traditional tea. The othe tip is bargain hard, prices are overinflated.

this place located almost at the western end of Doha is a fish/plant/mean/groceries and other things market. selling what you might buy at supermarket and malls for less. make sure you either come early before 7 on Fridays or late in the evening after 6

Few minutes far from my place is Omani Market. It's nearby Wholesale market. Usually you go in by your car and the vendors do get you items to the car. It's famous in dates, vegetables, fruits and some plants and seeds.

Amazing market with a large diversity of objects from the arabic world such as clothing, antiques, swords, lamps, rugs but also many restaurants and cafes in the pedestrian zone. The litlle souks resp sidestreets are charming and you may find interesting surprises.
