On our way to Africa for winter and dropped into Emirates during their summer . . . not good. We did not see the inside of the mosque, but did enjoy the coffee shop and some shopping.

It truly has a grand architecture from Persian to Ottoman style architecture to Indian style mosaics.It has the world's largest hand woven Carpet and the heaviest chandeliers . This is just breathtaking .

If you want to take the public transport then use bus no.54, It starts from Mina, or from Al Wahada Mall. It is a pity the Buses from Dubai do not stop at the Grand Mosque, so you need to transfer from the bust terminus next... More
