According to the guide, this is the only mosque in the middle east non-muslims can go inside. It is well worth a visit. 3 huge beautiful crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling. The decorative leaves and flowers on the marble walls compliment the huge carpet....More

I feel great and lucky having got an opportunity to visit this Abu Dhabi Mosque so elegantly designed and tastefully built. One of the worlds best place and every person must see it in his life time.

This a stop on the hop on hop off bus. The mosque is an outstanding piece of architecture. All visitors are welcome for free and if your dress code is not quite as required to enter appropriate dress is provided on request.

The mosque is incredibly beautiful. We had a tour from Fatima, who was exceptional - very knowledgeable and polite. I would recommend visiting later in the day as the sun sets, as it is very hot otherwise.

Must visit in Abu Dhabi but pick winter season, spring and summer are way too hot, make sure you are probably dressed for entry to this site.

Quite a stunning place, provided you like religious places, which do nothing for me. The whole setup is quite magnificent, what with chandeliers and rugs, and they are very strict with what the ladies wear, which is quite the norm. The hop on hop off...More

I would allow about an hour. You will be walking around and taking loads of pictures not only in the mosque, but outside which is so picturesque. There is also a souvenir shop as you go to the parking lot which you may... More
I will be arriving at Abu Dhabi airport on a flight from DFW at 8:10 PM. My onward flight to Bangkok is 12 hours later. I really want to see the mosque. If I hurry, will I be able to get out of the airport and to the mosque before it stops admitting guests at 9:30? I know it isn't too far from the airport, but I imagine it will take some time to get out of the aiport. Thank you.

I would say no you are really pushing the time airport I'll need to get through traffic and all then the roads in Abu Dhabi are not all finished don't think an hr and 40 mins is enough time.
