I would give this amazing mosque 5 stars if it wasn't for the wheelchair access. To get into the security building we had to lift/tip my mum in her wheelchair over two big. Otherwise the mosque was the highlight of our trip to Abu Dhabi.

There are 3 free guided tours during the week, 10am, 11am and 5pm. I took the 11am tour and am glad I did. You will be given access to places and routes that non tour visitors don't. Sayid was great, providing good information on the mosque and the religion. Tours take 45mins. The mosque is stunning, built in white marble... More

This was one of the highlights of our trip to abu dhabi. I was never been in a mosque before, so it was a memorable and great experience. The details and the architecture, the floors. Everything!

I've never been to a Mosque before and this was the first time. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is so beautiful and stunning. We visited there at night time and it is covered with mysteries with all those beautiful lightings. There is a dress code required for both men and women before you enter the Mosque, however, if you didn't prepare... More

Don't miss this if you are in the UAE. It is fascinating and beautiful. Take the tour, there are several English tours a day and it's the only way you can see the inside. We arrived about 4 pm and spent the hour before our 5 o'clock tour taking photos. It was still daylight and our photos are very good.... More

This is fantastic place to visit. So beautiful and peaceful. Well organised in the way you are directed around the building and it's grounds. The issuing of robes to those not dressed for the location is an added bonus. The respect all gave in removing shoes so that they could enter the mosque wad good to see. A must visit... More

I would say this is more than Museum rather Mosque- if inside of the mosque part is prohibited to be passed and security just pushing not sit and pass - this is more likely museum. Yes, it's open for the all people, but they'd better get experience from Turkey- Blue Mosque where is the line also exist but prayer can... More
