Although it isn't easy to get there (public transport in Abu Dhabi is a nightmare and a taxi is a quite expensive as it's aprox. 30 km from a downtown) it's a really a nice experience to see how our future cities might look like....More

It's not ready yet, but it is possible to imagine now how beautiful and well organized everything will be after they finish.

Visited the city and was blown away in the planning that is going into this wonderful place. The self driving electrical cars was a real treat and to see where this city is going to was really amazing. A great place to go and see.

we used to bring our visitors here to have a look at the architecture and some interesting displays. Unfortunately, the cool driverless electric cars are not operational at the moment.

The whole area is under construction, the access to the buildings is quite restricted, as it's a business area. definitely it's not yet a touristic area.

Not alot to see here at the moment, but there is lots of construction work happening. Apparently there used to be driverless cars, which took you from place to place, but now not operational. There are however, PRT pods, also driverless, which usually take you...More

Characterless unfinished block of buildings that are just not attractive- soulless. There are a few coffee shops & grocery stores & a nice South African restaurant. But depressing

In arrival at the front car park we were advised that the 'self driven' cars were no longer in operation. So we had to drive to the back of the building to access the facility. The place was like a ghost town with a handful...More

Visiting Masdar City was like visiting the future. We enjoyed it so much especially the electric car and the design of the buildings.

Can't add much to the advice above. However as the city is out of town you would get better value to combine a visit here with the Falcon Hospital and the Saluki Dog Centre (both of these are on the same site). Book the tour... More
