Not worth visiting as a day out. Ok if your staying at the La Shangri and get a free abra ride down. Worth it for the Abra ride. A few very expensive shops and restaurants.

The Souk was a disappointment to say the least. Not many shops and very confusing to get around. Plus more modern than original for my liking. There are a number of restaurants which I have been told are quite good, however we did not try...More

Contains gold, diamond, jewellery and perfume shops. Has a few souvenir stalls and several restaurants. There is also a small but well stocked super market.
