Built on two levels, The Souk is an interesting fusion of Arabian architecture tied into a Venetian theme. Water canals meander through The Souk, through our sister hotel The Shangri-La, as well as The Traders Hotel, with abras ferrying hotel guests and visitors throughout the Qaryat Al Beri Resort. Consisting of Retail and Food & Beverage (F&B) outlets, The Souk is where tradition molds with modernity & a choice for both leisure and business in having more than 15 high-end restaurants and cafes that offer culinary treats that circle the globe. Alongside a unique shopping experience in Abu Dhabi, The Souk has a number of shops that everyone will enjoy based on their own desires & needs as the selections range throughout across all groups from children to grown adults. Convenience and overall basic need are also not forgotten within The Souk, with a supermarket and a pharmacy that guests and regulars find very convenient.

We were staying next door and enjoyed an abra boat ride to visit the souk. Maybe it was because we visited during the day and it was quiet but we really didn't enjoy our experience. I like to support "local" businesses but it was difficult...More

After exploring the Sheikh Zayed Mosque do visit the Souq located across the water canal. You can buy traditional Emirati Products along with the spectacular views of Sheikh Zayed Mosque and riding the Abra is highly recommended.

It's a place to visit not to much suitable for shopping but to have a lot of restaurants to enjoy the different taste of foods like Lebanese Arabic and BBQ

This is a lovely hangout by day and a lively atmosphere at the weekends, especially late in the evening. The souk itself is an expanding, touristy shopping precinct but not the place to head for the big mall shopping junkies. It is tasteful and enjoyable...More

Love to visit the souk for its great variety of affordable dining options. Love the Lebanese, Italian & noodle house for great food at affordable AD prices! Shops are nice but many seem to be closing down as it's not that busy. Great wee supermarket...More
