Worth a visit. Located near to the Mariner Mall You can see craftsmen at work, and this is near to the beach. Great for photos

The heritage part of this place is just a few stalls selling souvenirs. The rest of it is for kids with playrooms etc, with a motor museum and a coffee shop. I didn't see much evidence of any heritage!!!

Wanted to see it but very disappointed. Very little in formation in "museum" area. Staff not interested and not locals. The idea is great but presentation very poor. Left and know very little more about Abhu Dhabi heritage than when I went in!

Decided that it was time to immerse ourselves in culture. Sadly this was not the place to do it. Very disappointed!

We visited here as part of a tour. It is a rather touristy place but the little shops have some nice things to buy. Cashmere pashmina [made in India] for £5.

It is a bit amazing that this place is not looked after better. For some guided tours the visit might be compulsory. It only proves that the place has no real history. Should not be a priority for travellers with little time.

I would do a trip to Qasr Al Hosn... its in the heart of town and has a lot to offer. You could always do the Heritage Village in the evening. The village is interesting, but the Qasr has more to offer.
