Went here during a day trip to Abu Dhabi from Dubai, the day was extremely hot but we did enjoy the museum and the restaurant inside the village was delicious. Food was regularly restocked well worth a stop to cool down and replenish. The views...More

We stopped for about 40 minutes on a tour and it was not enough. As mentioned there are areas showing how life was lived, trades and so on. There is enough to keep you occupied for an hour or more - especially if you visit...More

Really liked this stop on our tour. The Heritage Village recreates life in Abu Dhabi before the period that oil was found. It was interesting seeing a traditional Bedouin camp. They have camels their which the kids loved to see. Also local craftsmen showed how...More

I was pretty impressed with this replica of a village from years gone by as I thought it was done well and depicted the history of the period. I was particularly taken aback by a picture in the history building showing the skyline of Abu...More

I visited it during noon. There was no one to explain the 'history.' Some interesting replicas around the place. There's a small beach is where you can relax and enjoy the view. Had nice buffet lunch at a restaurant inside.

For history buffs this is a nice stop to learn a little of the history of Abu Dhabi. See historical artifacts and also do a little shopping for souvenirs.

For people who'd like to explore UAE from deep inside, this is a place to start. Located on one of the corners of the city of Abu-Dhabi, we traveled there on taxi. The village is well-organized and consists of different buildings. Each building features unique...More

Worth the visit to see how the Bedouin lived in earlier times. Be sure to get your times right for your transport as its a good walk to pick up a cab and the weather is hot!

I would do a trip to Qasr Al Hosn... its in the heart of town and has a lot to offer. You could always do the Heritage Village in the evening. The village is interesting, but the Qasr has more to offer.
