Expensive yachts anchor amount fish boats at the dock. It is the cruise ship tender dock and after a bit of a rough ride in (apparently it is always a rough ride because the waters are so shallow). Easy to walk to hand statue, beaches...More

The beaches may well be the best in South America.
Punta is busy, busy but the further north you go the funkier it gets. Notwithstanding the super funky Museo - Taller Carlos Paez Valero which is a wow.
The port/harbor has several nice restaurants to grab a bite. More interesting though is to see the sea lions around the fishing boats. The fisherman toss in fish scraps as they clean and fillet their catch. Real working fisherman with their fishing boats and real...More

Hello, I went there with my fiancé to visit his family. Therefore we borrowed a car from his family. There are plenty of exchange offices in the port and around the city. And you can use credit card in the restaurants and stores. Casa Pueblo is a very nice place. They also have a small movie theatre where they play a movie about the casa Pueblo and the artist who designed and built it. I would recommend to visit casa Pueblo in the evening before the sunset. There is a sunset ceremony where a poem to the sun plays during the sunset. It is very romantic and the sunset is just gorgeous. We stayed there for two nights and rented an apartment through airbnb.
