We really enjoyed this trip/unique experience seeing that many seals (three different kinds of seals) from our boat that actually got pretty close to them. Our tour guide thought there were approximately 300,000 seals in the area. Highly recommend a telephoto lens for photographers and...More

It is highly recommended to take the boat tour and visit Isla de Lobos. They mentioned about 200k animals in this island, which is very impressive. Boat tour is also very nice.

Loved the trip on Calypso Tours. We benefited from a sunny but windy day. As someone who likes sailing and boating, the captain seemed very knowledgeable of the waters and how to handle the boat. When we arrived, the staff mingled with passengers and provided...More

You will know you're getting close, the smell. There are so many sea lions and sea wolves in one place. It is amazing. Some are giving a show, most just lazing around.

Do not dive with sea lions. It is not strictly prohibited but it is unrespectful with their habitat and it is very risky to do in open sea without supervision of a professional lifeguard.
