This is a great thing to save for the winter months as there is not much to do in Punta del Este during that season. This is a lovely place with very nice people who appreciate artwork and help you better see the pieces that they are selling. Also an added benefit in the winter is there are hardly any... More

It is a great building, but you only get into a very small area: 2 shops, 2 exhibition places and a restaurant. The 240 pesos is really too much for what you get. As a foreigner you can't read anything because it's only in Spanish (and guess Portuguese). But what you get is very nice on its own. Beautiful art... More

The museum is well adjusted to the space available, so it can exhibit a lot of the art. The terrace was very crowded for a low season. The experience was good overall.

I ask my girlfriend to marry me in the most romantic place of South America and was the perfect place to do it. Not only the peace, hotel, sunset, theres a magic around that hotel.

Interesting place but rather disappointing inside. The exhibition is done in a very unprofessional way. The building is interesting, the views are stunning, but you will get the same views for free next to the building. The fee is very high for such a simple exhibit!

Arriving the place is already a terrific experience where you see Punta del Lest on the left and a beautiful sea view on both sides. It was an unique experience to know Casapueblo and about Carlos Páez Vilaró's life. He was a brilliant painter of the century. The architecture of the house is really simple and special.

A place with a great atmosphere and possibly one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. We went there and there was a live jazz band playing great music while the sun was coming down. Perfect!!!
