Interesting landscape

In the south part of La Paz City, this landscape is an interesting site to discover very nice views. The silence and the sightseeing makes it worth visiting.

Nice views and great trekkings, it is a very nice and cheap trip to do in La Paz and you won´t regret being there. Very recommended for a 3 hour trip and you don't expend more than a 100 pesos Bolivianos including entrance and taxi rides.

There are so many other places more beautiful than this in Bolivia! If you are only in La Paz for a short period of time and will not go anywhere else in Bolivia, then do it.

Valle de la Luna is a maze of canyons and giant spires. The formations, composed mainly of clay and sandstone, were created by the persistent erosion of mountains by the area’s strong winds and rains. What remains is a surrealistic setting, full of wonder. There are two circular walking tracks to choose, Devil’s Point (the most spectacular view-point) is located toward... More

There is something with the moon valley that gives me a lot of peace. There are apparently two paths, a 15 minutes one and another of around, 45 minutes but I enjoyed the former and took almost 2 hours. The ticket was 15 pesos and it is easy to arrive there, but it would be best if you plan the... More

Very interesting landscape just outside of la Paz. About a 40 minute taxi ride for around 60 Bs. Or you can bus and cabke car. Cool to see if you have a couple hours to kill! Makes for great pictures.

Relatively close to La Paz, this was a very cool stop. Take your time look at this interesting geographical landscape and just drink in the contrasts of the red mountains around. Do it!

We visited the Moon Valley after lunch on day 2 in La Paz. It is very interesting to see the different shapes that the erosion has left behind but access is limited because movement about the area will cause even greater erosion. There are some nice views from the high points of the valley but not a great deal to... More

Easy to get to and worth the visit. Spires and domes of odd colored clay that overlooks the red and brown mountains make for an great landscape. You can walk through the place in about 15 minutes and they have put some steps in so its easy to get up and down. The colors are more pronounced in the early... More

The place is very interesting. I took a local bus from La Paz Centro and it took me about 40 mins. You should leave after the rush hour! There should be 273 bus but I could not find the bus number so I took 271 instead from Mexico street. This place is all so interesting! You can spent about an... More
