La Paz has a lot of traffic problems and the driving is quite aggressive. The teleferico offers you a unique view of the city and no stress at all about the driving or the traffic problems!

Green and Yellow and Red. Cream de la creame of public transport anywhere, my hometown Prague should take an example and copy this technological gem.

The views are amazing! This is a must do- it only costs 3 bolivianos. Do it at night for a different experience.

At 3 bolivianos a ride this is about as affordable as it gets outside of free. The service is fairly new, comfortable, safe, easy to use and gets you around the city quickly. My wife and I took a short ride up to El Alto....More

I used the teleferico to get around in la paz. Great way to travel away from the traffic of La Paz. The views were great and so was the price. Great way to get to El Alto or El Sur.

For only 3 BOB a ride you have a nice view over the town and mountains. We took the red one. At el alto there was not much to see, except the view over the city.

We took the Yellow Line to the top. The views of the city are amazing and it's very inexpensive. My only regret is not do by this at night to see the lights of the city.

if the weather is bright it's the best and cheapest way to have a look at the city and reach the view points (miradors) ; we receive a lot of pleasure to use these "gadgets" in this way

The red line is not at the airport. You have to take a cab to the red line, which is 10-15 minutes away from the airport depending on traffic. Luggage is allowed on the cars, they hold up to 8 passengers, so they will load... More
