I am a big botanical garden fan and love both arborteums and themed gardens. The main conservatory area is under a major reconstruction that looks like it may take several months or up to year to finish. The overall gardens needed a major raking pickup of leaf debris. It was not worth the time sitting in traffic to get to this spot.

Carisima the entrance because they were in orchid exhibition, no updated information on prices. They NEVER answer the phone. There is only one food sales area, a 220 cc juice is worth 10,000 pesos, no signage. Older people get paid the same way as others.

The botanical garden has a nice architecture with lakes, smaller ares with special plants and three big modern greenhouses. I visited in February and there was not much blooming except for the roses. It is well maintained but there is a lack of information of the plant names. The greenhouses are a bit disappointing.

We visited on a Sunday morning in March on a lovely day and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It is peaceful and was really pleasant to walk around. Some areas are closed, but for the price (`$2 per person), it was a nice experience.

Less than 2 hours would be enough.

Went here during our final few hours in Bogota, mainly to escape a bit from the grittiness, congestion, and smog of the city's streets. Easy to access. Good variety of flora. Excellent place for taking long walks away from crowds in a dense city! Inadequate descriptions, even in Spanish, made it a challenge to know what I was observing. But touring the garden with apps like iNaturalist, PictureThis, and even Merlin Bird ID elevates the quality of the garden. I recommend a visit! Note: I only walked the basic grounds of the garden, and for only about one hour.

This place is truly a gem. It has a large variety of faune and flore into one place. I would say even nature non aficionados would love a walk there as it’s peaceful, it has both sun and shade, you can grab a book and coffee and simply enjoy life’s true wonders. During covid you must however be accompanied with a guide for 1h30.

It is a beautiful park, well preserved and very extensive, it is worth paying the full ballot, with tropicario included. It can be enjoyed alone or accompanied. Although something to keep in mind is that it is better to go to lunch or bring food, as the premises are a bit expensive and run out of food in a couple of hours.
Also, if you have a motorbike, know that the park parking is only for cars and you will have to park across the street.

Such a nice place. Relaxing, peaceful and very well cared.
It's not allowed to jog there, it's worth to spend time reading, breathing, doing yoga, getting in touch with yourself or even walking through its beautiful gardens.

Literally p____d it down the day we visited. That couldn’t detract however from the sheer variety and beauty of the fauna and flora on display.
We had a good couple of hours exploring this green space and came away more knowledgeable and appreciative of the experience
